Man tries to kill doctor, shoots brother instead

A Saudi man accidentally killed his elder brother when he tried to shoot a doctor who was locked in a heated argument with the brother at a public hospital in the Gulf Kingdom, a newspaper reported on Wednesday.

The man was accompanying his ill brother to hospital in the western town of Taif when the argument erupted with the doctor over treatment.

“The young brother rushed out to his car and brought a machine gun…he then opened fire but lost control of the gun,” the Arabic language daily Altaif said.

“Several bullets hit his brother and the doctor who were still arguing…..his brother was killed while the doctor was injured.”
