'Money-cloner' held in Saudi Arabia

Saudi police arrested a 40-year-old African man accused of embezzling large sums of money from local people by claiming he can turn paper into cash.

Police raided the man’s flat after reports from several men in the Eastern port of Dammam that he extorted large sums of money from them.

‘Sada’ newspaper quoted police spokesman Colonel Ziad Al Rugaiti as saying police searching the man’s apartment found cash, forged credit cards and various types of liquids, which he used in fooling his victims.
