Newly-wed man kidnaps, rapes 11-year-old boy

A Saudi man who has just married raped an 11-year-old Arab boy after abducting him near his house and driving to the nearby mountains.

The man, in his 20s, snatched the boy as he walked back home and took him to an isolated mountainous area, where he raped him and left him alone.

Newspapers said the boy managed to walk back to the road, where he was picked by a passing car. At home, he told his father, who reported the crime to the police.

“Police arrested the man a few days later despite scant information about him,” Alsaudeh daily said in a report from the southern town of Almandaq.
