Passengers wait long for missing Saudia pilot

Passengers of a Saudia domestic flight were told to leave the aircraft minutes after boarding and to return to the lounge because the pilot had not come yet.

The passengers have just taken their seats aboard the late night flight from the western Red Sea port of Jeddah to the southwestern town of Bisha when they were told by the cabin crew to head back to the airport lounge.

“They said we have to wait in the lounge again as the pilot has not come yet…after nearly an hour, we were told to board again,” Sabq Arabic language daily said, quoting passengers.
