Police man tries to rape woman at home

A Kuwaiti police man tried to rape a married Indonesian woman inside her apartment after mid night but fled because of her continuous screams, a newspaper in the oil-rich Gulf emirate reported on Saturday.

The unnamed woman was jolted out of bed at around 1.00 am by persistent knocking on the door of her flat in Kuwait City, Alanba said.

“The woman told police that she quickly opened the door because she thought a problem happened to her husband who was at work on a night shift,” it said.

“When she opened, the man in a police uniform jumped on her…she started to scream until all other neighbours woke up, prompting him to flee…the woman said the man could have been drunk or had drugs.”
