Preacher ends life inside Saudi mosque

An African preacher was found hanging inside a mosque in Saudi Arabia and police said he had likely committed a suicide, newspapers reported on Sunday.

Residents going for evening prayers at the mosque in the western town of Makkah found the man hanging by the ceiling with a man’s head scarf tied around his neck.

Police said they were investigating Saturday’s incident but ruled out criminal act.
