Prisoner ends life at Saudi police station

A prisoner hanged himself inside a police station in Saudi Arabia and guards said he died a day after he was taken to hospital.

The unnamed man was found hanging inside his cell in the southern Jazan province and was rushed to hospital in a serious condition.

Doctors told the Arabic language daily Okaz the man died a day after he was admitted to the intensive care unit.
