A Saudi girl committed a suicide by hanging herself in her father’s bedroom at their house in the Gulf Kingdom, a newspaper reported on Thursday.

Sabq said the family tried to save the girl, a university student, but she was already dead. It said police in the southern town of Sameta opened an investigation into the incident to determine the girls’ motives.
