Saudi man finds crying baby in car boot

A Saudi man going to work in the morning was surprised when he heard muted cries inside his car boot. When he opened the boot, his surprise turned into a shock when he saw a new born baby placed among his personal items.

The man phoned the police, who sent an ambulance to take the little boy to hospital for treatment and possible identification.

“Police are investigating the possibility that a woman dumped her baby in that car after an illegitimate affair,” Kabar newspaper said in a brief report from the Western Red Sea port of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia’s second largest city.
