Saudis seize 1 million Amphetamine pills

They were in barrels dumped by two men in sea

Saudi Arabia’s coast guards seized nearly one million Amphetamine pills which two men tried to smuggle into the Gulf kingdom by sea.

Coast guard men were patrolling the water off the Northwestern town of Tabuk when they saw a boat dumping barrels into the water.

Sada newspaper said the coast guards exchange fire with two men on the boat after they tried to flee, adding that one of them was injured.

The guards arrested a Saudi and an Egyptian on board of the boat after discovering that the barrels contained nearly one million Amphetamine pills, which are used as a potent central nervous system stimulant.
