Saudis seize 277,000 captagon pills in car tyres

Saudi customs men seized nearly 277,000 captagon pills hidden inside tyres of a truck entering the Gulf kingdom from neighbouring Jordan.

The customs officials decided to search the tyres after noticing small metal pieces were stuck on them, Sabq newspaper said.

It quoted customs chief Ibrahim Al Anzi as saying the pills were “concealed expertly” inside tyres and were destined to the Saudi market.
