Teacher lashes ill school boy with power cable

A Saudi teacher lashed a little school boy suffering from heart problems with a power cable, leaving marks on his arm and sparking calls by parents to punish the teacher.

The boy in the primary school in the western Saudi town of Taif was taken to hospital after he returned home with a pale face and red arms.

“We will complain the teacher to the education ministry to take action against him for this savagery,” the boy’s father Hussein Al Sifiani told ‘Sabq’ newspaper.
