Teacher lashes pupils with power cable

A teacher was caught on camera using a power cable to punish his pupils at a mosque in Saudi Arabia.

A YouTube film published by the Saudi daily Sabq showed the teacher was severely beating his students as they tried to cower away from his lashes.

The newspaper said the film was carried by social networks, adding that viewers called on authorities to identify the teacher and punish him.

It did not make clear where in Saudi Arabia the film was shot.
