Thief steals car with 5 kids in it

A thief stalking a Saudi man in Jordan waited for the visitor to step out of his car before he jumped behind the wheel and drove away, not realizing there were five children and a housemaid inside, a Saudi newspaper said on Thursday.

Returning from inside a hotel in the capital Amman, the Saudi mean screamed to residents to help him as he stared in disbelief at the thief driving away.

Residents chased the thief in the narrow street and managed to block his way, forcing him to bang into a road cement block, causing the vehicle to overturn.

The Saudi daily Sada, quoting Jordan’s media, said police arrested the driver while the children and maid were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
