Thieves in Saudi slay deer but fail to take it

Thieves raided a farm in Saudi Arabia at night and tried to steal seven deer alive but managed to catch only one. When they failed to smuggle it over the farm’s high wall, they slaughtered it but again they failed to take it with them.

The Saudi owner who checked his animals in the farm in the western town of Taif in the morning found that one deer has been slain while the six others were alive.

“They apparently used a cleaver to slaughter my deer after they failed to take it alive…but they also failed to take it dead,” Aoun Al Abdali told Sabq newspaper.

“It seems that they tried to take all the deer but they managed to catch only one.…I have reported this crime to the police and hope these thieves will be caught soon.”
