Two maids pour hot water on baby in Kuwait

Two Filipina housemaids poured hot water on a baby at their employer’s house in Kuwait, inflicting serious burns on her.

The two maids fled just after the crime, triggering a massive police operation to hunt them down, according to newspapers in the oil-rich Gulf emirate.

They quoted the baby’s father as saying he did not know why his two maids had done so on the grounds there had caused no trouble before.
