Vanishing wife-killer triggers man-hunt

A Saudi man who had always mistreated his wife ended up in murdering her before vanishing, triggering a massive police manhunt.

Doctors had tried to save the Saudi wife, in her 30s, after she was stabbed by her husband many times but she died in hospital later.

Police are searching for the husband, who fled his house and disappeared, the Arabic language daily Sabq said.
