Woman accused of 'raising voice' at police station

An Iranian woman was arrested by police in Kuwait on charges of “raising her voice” at an officer while he was questioning her.

The officer was about to let the woman go when he noticed that she was raising her voice at him, considering this an offence.

“The office accused the woman of offending a public servant…he ordered her arrest for further interrogation,” the Arabic language daily Al Anba said.
