Woman to be deported over 'petrol' threat in Saudi

A Saudi court sentenced an Arab woman to three months in jail and ordered her lashed 30 times and deported out of the Gulf kingdom after she was found guilty of pouring petrol near her Saudi neighbour’s house and threatening to set it ablaze.

The woman confessed to court that she poured petrol and threatened the Saudi woman following an argument near their houses in the Western Red Sea port of Jeddah.

Sada newspaper said the court also ordered medical examination of the woman before she is deported, after serving her jail term.
