Saudis seize 1.4m captagon pills in tea trays

Saudi customs inspectors foiled an attempt to smuggle nearly 1.4 million captagon pills hidden inside wrapped tea and coffee trays.

The inspectors at the Western Red Sea port of Jeddah decided to search the shipment after suspecting it contained illegal items.

“They found nearly 1.4 million captagon pills concealed expertly inside the trays which were covered by plastic and paper bags,” Sada daily said.
