A court in the Northeastern port of Kalba sentenced two men to six months in prison after they were convicted of robbing a shop and spending the loot in a night club.

The two confessed to police that they smashed the glass front of the shop and stole money from its safe at night.

“They told the prosecutor that they spent all the stolen money at a night club,” the semi-official daily Al Ittihad said.
