Old man killed by youth for visiting daughter

A 66-year-old father died after he was pushed down from a high place when he was visiting his daughter.

An argument began between the old man and a youth over the issue of former’s visit to his daughter.

The victim was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead after he was pushed from 5-ft height.

The incident occurred in Uragasmanhandiya’s Koraheena area in Sri Lanka, ‘Sunday Mawbima’ reported.

The accused ran away from the scene but arrested by the police later and produced before the court.

Police said they could comment on the death after the postmortem report.
