Two Sri Lankan teens commit suicide

SRI LANKA: An 18-year-old girl killed herself in Moratuwa about a week ago, the Police Media Unit revealed.

The victim, who was a resident of Moratuwa, hanged herself in her bedroom. The post-mortem was held at the Lunawa hospital on that day.

The reason for her suicide is yet to be revealed. Moratuwa Police are investigating.

Meanwhile, a 16-year-old boy also killed himself in Marawila. He was a resident of Katuneriya, police said. Marawila Police are investigating.
