More than half a million has been raised for speed needs kids at the Al Noor Centre.

Samsung said it managed to raise Dh630,000 in just one day during a family fun fair on Friday.

The entire proceeds will be donated to the Al Noor Training Centre for Children with Special Needs.

Dh200,000 was raised from a raffle draw alone. Winners got a chance to go away with Samsung products including GALAXY Note 10.1, GALAXY Note 3, GALAXY S4, GALAXY Grand, SMART TVs and more.

“Through Samsung Hope for Children, we have the opportunity to continue our commitment to create new possibilities for children to pursue their interests and have a successful future,” said Young Soo Kim, President of Samsung Gulf Electronics.

Over 5,000 visitors attended the event, which included employees from Samsung and Al Noor, along with volunteers from the local community.
