Proposal to set up bank to finance Saudi contractors

RIYADH The Riyadh Chamber of Commerce has proposed the creation of a bank in Saudi Arabia to finance construction contractors due to tight credit and high interest resulting from the global financial crisis. The government, local banks, and Saudi private sector companies would be major shareholders in the new bank.
