Kuwait Fund to finance power plant in Egypt

The Kuwait Development Fund has agreed to lend Egypt $105 million (Dh385m) for a power station. This is part of the $537m the Egyptian government borrowed to build the power plans in El-Ein El-Sukhna on the Red Sea, according to a statement. The Japanese government will lend Cairo about $432m for a 220-megawatt wind farm.
