Limitless eyes opportunities in Europe

Limitless, a unit of Dubai World, is exploring opportunities in Europe and other parts of world, a company spokesperson said yesterday.

"We are constantly exploring opportunities in all our markets that fit our global strategy. Italy and other parts of Europe are among the countries where opportunities are being explored," the spokesman said.

Earlier, Bloomberg reported that Limitless has offered to buy real estate from Italy's Risanamento in what would be its first ever purchase in mainland Europe.

The offer is worth €1.4 billion (Dh8bn), Italian newspaper MF reported yesterday without saying where it got the information from. Risanamento announced the two companies were in talks in a statement today.
