What Credit Crunch?

An auction of artworks and treasures collected by the late designer Yves Saint Laurent, pictured, has brought in an estimated €373.5 million (Dh1.7 billion).

The sale, which included masterpieces by Picasso, Mondrian and Matisse, as well as Art Deco gems, bronzes, and YSL's armchair, topped auctioneer Christie's expectations of €200m for the whole event.
