Air Arabia inks data link services deal with Sita

Sharjah-based bugdet carrier Air Arabia has announced a five-year deal with Sita to utilise its Aircom data link services for the existing fleet of 21 Airbus A320s, and the 44 aircraft on order that are due to be operational by the end of 2012. Air Arabia plans to use Sita Aircom for flight operations, engineering and administrative work. The system will also automate processes, which will ensure reduced aircraft turn-around times.
