'Dubai Air Show will feature 900 exhibitors'

President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, said 900 exhibitors will take part in Dubai Air Show 2009 in November.

The show will be a big event, he said.

Sheikh Ahmed was speaking during a reception in Paris yesterday.

He said the phase one of Al Maktoum International Airport will be completed by the second half of next year.

Sheikh Ahmed described as excellent Dubai International Airport's growth rates despite the crisis experienced by several airports of the world.

He expected growth in the first half of June at four per cent to five per cent.
