Kuwait crude tank blaze under control

State-run Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) has brought a fire under control at one of its crude oil storage tanks at the Al Mugwa field, and there was no impact on production, a top official said yesterday.

"It is not out yet but it is under control," Mohammed Husain, Deputy Chairman, KOC said. The fire broke out in a dual tank at an oil and gas gathering centre. The centre is known as GC-10.
