Kuwait's Agility buys Canada's Geopetrol for $8.3m

Kuwait's Agility, the Gulf's biggest logistics firm by market value, said on Monday it has acquired Canadian freight company Geopetrol International.

Agility bought Geopetrol for $8.3 million (Dh30.46m), Agility said in a statement on the bourse website.

Geopetrol partly specialises in moving oilfield and oversize equipment throughout the world, the company, which is based in the energy-rich province of Alberta, said on its website.
