RTA launches intranet for employees

An intranet for employees of the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has been launched by Chairman and Executive Director Mattar Al Tayer.

The portal would become the backbone for the exchange of information and files within the authority and the processing of internal transactions, said Al Tayer.

"Launching the RTA intranet will enhance the productivity of employees, boost communication, support processes, maintain corporate knowledge, nurture the culture of data sharing across the RTA and save time and effort," he added.

The portal has an activity area and pages for the chairman and executive director, departments, sectors and agencies.

There are also sections for internal notices, knowledge management, RTA news, teams and projects and questionnaires on the portal.
