SAS posts Q1 pre-tax loss of $124.4m
STOCKHOLM Scandinavian airline SAS posted a first-quarter pre-tax loss in line with expectations yesterday and said it was hard to see when a recovery in the global airline industry would come. SAS made a pre-tax loss of 1.02 billion Swedish crowns ($124.4m) in Q1 against a forecast loss of 1.01bn in a Reuters poll and an 875m loss in the same period a year earlier.
