The fares and inventory of the new luxury Kuwaiti airline, Wataniya Airways, will now be available to Galileo and Worldspan- connected travel agents, the company said.

This follows a new multi-year content agreement with Wataniya Airways and Travelport GDS, one of the world's largest global distribution system (GDS) providers, which operates both the Galileo and the Worldspan brands.

Agents with Travelport access can make Wataniya Airways flight bookings with immediate effect in advance of the airline starting operations this month. "We are delighted to have signed this new content agreement and to be able to give our agency customers access to the inventory of Wataniya Airways" said Matthew Hall, Vice-President, Airline Services for Travelport GDS in Europe, Middle East and Africa. "By working closely with up and coming new carriers such as Wataniya Airways to secure their content on the GDS, we are ensuring that our agency customers remain competitive and continue to have access to the best possible airline content."

"Travelport complements our multi-channel distribution strategy," said Paul Sies, Chief Commercial Officer for Wataniya Airways.
