The Associated Construction and Investments Company (Ascon) yesterday announced that it has entered into a strategic partnership agreement with Dubai Quality Group (DQG) as its newest Investor Partner.

The agreement comes in the context of promoting quality standards in the construction and contracting industry.

Ascon said the partnership will enhance the efforts of Dubai to become a global hub for investments based on a plan of economic diversification.

Osama Al Rahmah, Vice Chairman, DQG, said: "The DQG recognises the great interest of the constructions and investments sector on the national economy, which leads us to commit to providing the necessary support to this sector in order to enhance Dubai's position as a global investment destination, and we are confident that this partnership will create a positive impact on the quality of work and services provided by Ascon."

The company has been granted a membership, which will allow it to take advantage of all the specialised services provided by the group such as consultations and seminars.
