CTBUH seeks nominations for next chair

The Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) is seeking nominations for the next chair who will serve for two years starting from second half of 2009.

The current Chair David Scott's tenure will come to an end during 2009. The plan is that the successful candidate will be elected as Vice-Chair by summer 2009 so that there are a few months' overlap before the formal chair hand-over, which is expected to occur at the CTBUH's annual conference/40th Anniversary celebratory event in Chicago in October 2009.

The appointment to the Board of Trustees is thus for three years, with an opportunity for re-election afterwards.

The CTBUH, based at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, is an international non-profit organisation supported by various groups.
