The first phase of the construction work of The Villa project in Dubailand has been completed, according to Al Mazaya Holding.

The project comprises 700 residential villas and almost 75 per cent of development work for the first 400 villas is complete. Construction work is half way through on the remaining 300 villas.

The units will be delivered to owners in three stages. Stage one plots (104 villas) will be delivered this month while stage two plots (150 villas) will be handed over in October. The last set of 446 villas will be handed over to owners in March 2010.

According to a statement from Al Mazaya Holding, the company has revved up the pace of development in order to deliver the project according to the schedule.

Fathi Al Dhameri, Senior Vice-President of Construction at Al Mazaya in Dubai, said: "When we first came to Dubailand, we had a vision that this location would become a prosperous city boasting numerous impressive projects. The Villa is such a project, and it plays a great role in realising our vision through its Santa Victoria architecture, and the requirements instated by Dubai Real Estate Company, the main developer of the project."

"The units in The Villa offer a range of sizes, and were designed to cater for both investment and residency purposes."

The Villa is located in Dubailand, at Exit 18 on Al Ain Road. Perla Lichi, turnkey luxury hospitality and commercial interior designer, has provided the Dh1 billion residential project with interior decor.
