International architectural firm RMJM's Dubai office has appointed Associate, Ali Uzun, to lead the company's Middle East division of Global Health and Science Studio.

The practice said this studio will also soon be "promoting the findings of their extensive research into how innovative design methods can be applied to better prevent the spread of dangerous infections in the GCC hospitals". The research will include new design models for isolation zones and directing airflow to keep staff and patients safe from threatening gasses or infections.
