Saadiyat Bridge nears completion

The landmark 10-lane Saadiyat Bridge that will link the capital with nearby Saadiyat Island is now more than two-thirds complete.

Fifty structural support piers are in place – a striking demonstration of the progress made on the crossing which is due for completion in the third quarter of next year. The bridge has been commissioned by Tourism Development and Investment Company, which is transforming Saadiyat Island into an international leisure, residential and cultural destination.
