Wingate gets Dh4.8m contract from Memon

Memon Investments, a Dubai-based property developer, has announced that it awarded a Dh4.8 million contract to Wingate Electromechanical Services for the complete MEP works in its maiden commercial venture – Cambridge Business Centre.

The contractor will deliver complete electrical, plumbing, drainage, fire fighting and fire alarm works for the Dh80m commercial tower, located in Dubai Silicon Oasis. Memon Investments is part of the international business conglomerate, the Memon Group of Companies.

The agreement with Wingate follows the signing of contracts with other leading companies, including an Dh40.35m contract with Cairo Contracting Company for the construction of Cambridge Business Centre, and a shoring and excavation contract with Stromek Emirates Foundation (SEF), a subsidiary of M'sharie, the private equity arm of Dubai Investments.

Wingate's portfolio includes projects such as the Al Nasr Stadium, Dubai, Gulf Extrusions and Omni Chemical Industries among others.

Memon Investments currently has a portfolio of projects valued at close to Dh1.35 billion. The 10-storey Cambridge Business Centre is designed by Adnan Saffarini and is set to occupy a 160,000 square feet plot.
