Mechanisms of boosting co-operation in alternative energy and conservation of the natural resources between the UAE and Greece were discussed yesterday, when General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces met the visiting President of Greece Karolos Papoulias.
Meanwhile, Sheikh Mohammed welcomed President of the Maldives Mohamed Nasheed. The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi lauded measures being made by the Maldives to reduce carbon emissions. The meeting also discussed a host of issues related to the climate change and clean energy.
