Saudi’s Sabic says power outage affecting plants

Saudi Basic Industries Corp (Sabic) said on Saturday a power outage is affecting production at some of its polyethylene and polypropylene plants in Jubail.

Sabic will resume normal production at the affected plants within a "few days", it said in a statement on the bourse website.

It did not mention by how much its production was reduced.

A power outage had hit the industrial eastern province in the kingdom last week.
