Steve Peacock takes over as COO of Mubadala

ABU DHABI Mubadala Development Company has hired Steve Peacock as chief operating officer of its oil and gas business unit, a spokesman for the state-owned investment company said yesterday.

Peacock, 52, joins Mubadala from British Petroleum (BP) where he headed BP Middle East and South Asia.

Michael Townsend, president of BP Oman, has replaced Peacock as head of BP Middle East.
