Ceva in integrated supply agreement with P&G

Ceva Logistics, a global supply chain management company says it has signed an agreement with Procter & Gamble (P&G) to provide integrated supply chain services in Dubai.

Ceva will also manage the outbound distribution of P&G's products in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and Yemen.

In the UAE, Ceva will manage customs clearance activities for P&G's fast moving consumer goods and provide warehouse facility. Ceva recently opened a new facility in the South Area of Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai.

The firm is expanding its presence in this area through a wide network of local warehouses in order to support and drive forward its development plans within the region, offering customers a truly integrated freight management and contract logistics service.

The company in a statement said that the new contract supports and recognises its operational excellence and furthers its growth strategy in the region.

Last week Ceva announced that work is progressing on its new warehouse and office facility in Jebel Ali Free Zone. It is expanding its activities in the region and plans to have 100,000 sqm of warehouse space by the end of 2010.
