More than 250 bourse regulators from the UAE and other Arab countries will converge on Abu Dhabi next month for a conference that will cover their role in regional stock exchanges and post-crisis market developments.

The UAE Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA), which oversees the country's official exchanges, will organise the February 15 symposium at Emirates Palace hotel in the UAE capital.

Minister of Economy Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, who is SCA's Chairman, will address the participants from regulatory authorities in GCC and other Arab nations with formal bourses.

"The summit is organised to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the SCA. It will be the leading forum for discussion and debate around lessons learned from the financial crisis and driving success moving forward," said SCA.
