Dubai Media honours 66 outstanding employees

Dubai Media Incorporated's annual ceremony honoured 66 employees of its different departments including Channel directors, producers and anchors.

The ceremony held at Madinat Jumeirah saw more than a 1,000 attendees to cheer up the awardees who have contributed to the growth of the group. Abdullah Al Jazeeri, a 37-year employee at DMI received special recognition.

Ahmad Al Shaikh, Managing Director, DMI, said the institution achieved substantial growth in the previous years, marked lately at the Dubai Government Excellence Programme Awards, which saw it move from the 21st place up to the eighth spot.

Al Shaikh lauded the big developments seen at DMI last year, earning it a larger share of the audience, in addition to becoming the first media organisation to receive the ISO quality certification.

He noted that DMI was also able to become a profitable organisation and has won many awards.

Ahmad Al Mansouri, Director of Sama Dubai TV was also honoured for his contributions.
