Geniem signs mobile portal deal with Rotana
ROK Entertainment Group, the global mobile entertainment company, has announced its Finland-based mobile services development firm, Geniem, has signed an exclusive content-delivery agreement with Rotana, the world's largest producer and distributor of Arabic music and films.
Geniem will build customised on-device portals for Rotana's mobile partners to be deployed regionally to enable users to access its diverse content across operators networks seamlessly.
Owned by Prince Alwaleed bin Talal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Rotana is also the leading Arabic mobile content distributor in the Middle East, North Africa, the Gulf and Europe.
Rotana has amassed a portfolio that includes leading music stars such as Amr Diab, Mohammed Abdou, Kazem Al Saher, Elissa, Sherine, Ahlam, Nawal Al Kuwaitiya, Najwa Karam, Georges Wassouf and Abdullah Rweished.
