Premier League TV, the new official round-the-clock channel from the English Premier League (EPL), is to be broadcast in high definition by the Abu Dhabi Media Company (ADMC).

The service will form part of the company's Premier League package on its Al Riyadiya subscription channels when the new season kicks off in August. ADMC announced earlier this year that it had bought the TV rights to the league for three years, starting with the 2010-11 season.

The broadcaster says the channel, produced in English and broadcast from London, will give football fans in the region "an enhanced viewing experience for the most watched football league in the world". The channel will give fans access to all 380 matches over the season, with up to six being broadcast live each weekend.

"We are committed to providing the very best sports content and the most engaging and immersive viewing experience to our audiences," said Karim Sarkis, Executive Director of Broadcast at ADMC. "This announcement represents the next step in fulfilling our mission. With the availability of Premier League TV, we are delighted to be able to further enhance the quality, range and depth of EPL coverage for our viewers in the region."

Al Riyadiya Director Mohammed Najeeb said: "To complement the English-language content, we will also offer customised content from the Premier League channel in Arabic. The combination will provide viewers with EPL programming, which rivals that available anywhere in the world."
