Medes Publishing has partnered with Dubai-based specialist publisher Switch Media to develop the depth, scope and reach of Middle East Commodities.

Switch Media brings with it considerable expertise in publishing garnered from work with some of the world's most reputable international titles, as well as extensive regional experience with the most recognised and respected magazines, newspapers and other publications in the Middle East.

Through this partnership with Switch Media, Middle East Commodities will be able to extend its reach into the commodities industry through the use of a wider network of industry leaders and experts.

Speaking at the signing of the pact, Brian Scudder, director of Switch Media, said: "Middle East Commodities is a unique publication in a very niche market. The magazine fills an information gap in the region that was significantly lacking. With our new partnership, we will develop the relationships already in place with the commodities industry and build new partnerships to help shape the landscape of commodities news."

The partnership will also allow Medes Publishing to further pursue the launch of both European Commodities and Far East Commodities, based in London and Singapore respectively.

"We feel that there is a clear desire on the part of the industry to source critical information from niche publications such as ours. The proof of this lies in the response we've received from those in the commodities industry for our work on Middle East Commodities, and not just from the Middle East, but across the globe," said Dusan Durdevic, associate director of Medes Publishing.

Middle East Commodities, working in conjunction with Dubai Multi-Commodities Centre, has served to bridge the media and information gap that exists between all parties participating in all aspects of the commodities industries.

Middle East Commodities is a monthly publication covering agriculture, energy, metals, precious metals and gems, banking and finance, futures and options, logistics, market analysis, environment and law from a commodities trading standpoint.
